iPolicy Networks Intros Adaptive Security Systems
SC Magazine, Feb 12, 2004
iPolicy Network has unveiled the ipEnforcer 3100 and 3400 series, two new security systems for the enterprise marketplace.
The Fremont, California-based company says that the systems are designed to provide high levels of performance along with adaptive network protection to block today's complex threats and attacks.
iPolicy Networks says its ipEnforcer series feature a single-pass inspection engine that allows multiple security services to run concurrently on a single system.
Using this approach, says the firm, allows the system to support multiple correlated security services, including intrusion detection and prevention, distributed denial of service and attack mitigation; URL screening and VPN plus stateful packet inspection.
In parallel with the new security systems, iPolicy Networks has launched its Unified Security Manager (USM), a package designed to enforce, monitor and report on enterprise-wide security.
The company says that its USM offering supports hierarchical management and virtual security domains that can span multiple locations and departments.
